Robert D. Jones (Rob) serves as the President of Construction at Davidson and Jones Construction Company. As a fourth-generation builder and developer, Rob has been an integral figure in driving strategic business efforts and capitalizing upon corporate growth opportunities. Before being named the President of Construction in 2006, Rob spent years succeeding through the company ranks and developing his career within commercial real estate and development in the Triangle region of NC.
Rob is a licensed NC real estate broker, and he was recognized by Commercial Real Estate Today with the Rising Star Award in 1994. Within a few short years, Rob was appointed NC State Building Commissioner by Governor James Hunt on March 31, 2000. Rob is an alumnus of East Carolina University, where he earned a B.S. Construction Management degree. He is a part of the Forever Pirate Alumni Association.
