The Hampton Inn – Smithfield project included all site work and site utilities, indoor pool, fitness room, meeting room, breakfast/pantry area, and outdoor space for hotel guests.

Project: AC Marriott Erwin Terrace

Scope Analysis: The completed project consisted of the new construction of a 67,920-sf, 5-story hotel building with 142-guest room units. The site and building construction included all site work and site utilities, building concrete, asphalt paving, curb & gutter, masonry, structural steel, all architectural interior finishes, fire alarm, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems.

Project: The Residence Inn Durham McPherson/Duke University

Scope Analysis: The project consisted of the construction of a new Marriot Residence Inn as an addition to Downtown Durham and Duke University. The completed project consisted of 145-guest room units, communal space for guests, an indoor pool, and a ground-floor parking garage. The project construction required a block and plank construction build method. The adjoining building was considered historic since it was constructed in the 1920s.

Project: Unscripted Hotel

Scope Analysis: The completed project consisted of the reposition of a 1960’s vintage hotel property formerly known as the “Jack Tar Hotel” into the new urban “Unscripted” brand. The completed project included ground-floor retail and a full-service high-end specialty restaurant. In addition to the hotel renovation, a garage renovation was completed. The property included a rooftop terrace “lounging pool” with a bar area.

The completed project included a boardroom, bar, 2nd-floor pool, and separate Presidents Club to service the Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC).
